Today is Erin's Birthday

Our household had one too many germs over the weekend wedding festivities and it has created havoc around here. FEVERS all around, coughs that don't calm and the vomiting not to be kept up with.... It has come to sheets out the back door over and over again..... Medication can not keep up...and I am trying to stay on top of it all......I (knock on wood) have not gone down.....

SO with fevers, coughs, vomit and plain ole sick kids ERIN is out on the town celebrating turning 26 tonight without us... Lara is staying over night with a family friend so she can avoid germs if possible.. As you will see in the pictures nothing holds back the Pringleclan from a party cake so we went on with the celebrations and sang to Erin where her ears would ring but not hear our vocals wishing her a very happy Birthday evening.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN........ 26 years today

Photos sent from friends

Hello world....

This is difficult to manage with a laptop that does not have the capability to keep up with blogging. My new laptop some how with the addition of guests in the home decided to blackout and no longer work....URG to say it nicely. No worry many warned me not to allow guests to just get on it but all know that I am the number one human who does not know how to set limits and say "NO" So here I am....

It has been three weeks because facebook is easy on easy off with this little laptop of Kaitlyn's I am using... and yes all the house guests are on it as well.... never learn do I? Kaitlyn will get the off at times but she does have the ability to say no...LOL

So here I go...

The wedding was beautiful..the last weeks were much more stress than we had planned but in hindsight we are procrastinators and the items that could or should have been done a year ago when planning began waited until the last minute because we had so much time...not I was not a big part of the planning so it was unknown to me until last minute. The left off items were not missed although I am also grieving lack of photos of my home base children. I spent a great deal of money on tux rentals and gowns and never got their photos of them alone... I am not sue what photos were taken because again I was not part of it although I was only in a few after the ceremony... I pray that each of the kids have at least one to hold on to memories with, a learning experience...and I have not seen the photos so maybe they did get theirs done .... ????

My visit with my Aunt Jill and cousin Karye who are the same age as I am and we had not had girl time in over 20 years. I can not tell you in words how much this time meant to me and we will do it again soon. I am very close to my family in my heart just not in geography. I am here in SW Florida for the right reasons for me at the time I needed to be here and now I am here for reasons that meet the needs of my family. I now have to make the effort to make regular trips up north to regain and maintain my relationships with my family...it is too important to procrastinate on.

My local friends who were there for me during the past three weeks...Connie who came to the rescue in hemming the dresses last minute THANK YOU and her time at the party helping to keep tabs on small guests. Her time with my relatives and in laws to Mandie making sure she got to know people... and my baby brother!!! Thank you for coming own so that Kory was here with us. My parents who endured as much new generation music as they could made the family photos complete... Mandie Cherish your effort to be a part of her wedding.

My respite provider for the weekend; WAY TO GO! they made life time memories for the Kid's while I made my own with my adult time.... They were boating out to an Island called picnic Island off the coast and then back to the home for pool time and BBQ.. I heard about this adventure for hours/days with so much excitement in their telling of their time with the respite provider and her crew of help...
