I am stunned that this is still being used in America in the year 2009 as a descriptive of a person having Down syndrome. I am even more disgusted that a professional who claims to be serving the best interest of our children, "PROFESSIONALLY".
Today a school board representative called our kids mongoloids...said she had someone a year ago talk to her about "person fist language" but she said it is hard to remember....WHAT???? We need to pay attention to these moments during re-elections!!!
