"Baby was born on 9/15/09. Birth weight was 8 lbs. 9oz, height 20 1/2 inches in length. Apgars were 6 and 8. She has a heart murmur that comes and goes. Sometimes is is very pronounced and others it is not. Tuesday she is being transported to another local hospital for a full cardiac evaluation (including echocardiogram) . Genetic testing for Down's Syndrome was done on 9/16/09 and will take approximately 14 days for results. According to the pediatricians they would shocked if she does not have Down Syndrome. Baby is off all monitors and has no IV. Initially she was slow to latch on to nipple but those feeding issues have been resolved and she is feeding much better. According to the nurse she is eating like a champ."
