Photos.... aren't they great...you would think my day was flawless...Well not so much.
We did not make it out today. Carmelo is struggling with a high temp which ended him in the ER at dinner hour when he pushed to 105 and left ER with 103 and instructions for the next 24 hours but all tests show neg. for anything fatal. This leaves me to the 102 Lucas brought on this morning and lost by 3 pm..never came back and tonight the 101 Emma is toying with but Tylenol has brought down..What's up kids, we had a fun day planned....
Keirsten says she learned not to get into Saturday school ever again because her "duty" was to DO LAUNDRY. Washing wet sweaty nasty smelling Football uniforms, some had been sitting since Tuesday nights game but most from last night... She was not impressed with touching any "star football" nasty dirty jersey..lol BUT the moral of the story is she continues to not have the tools to respond to bullying at school in her classroom while a teacher is watching it occur..This will be my job to get to the bottom of....cheap child labor ???? I believe the correct consequence to an undesired behavior is to redirect or TEACH. If my child still has no direction to avoid the behavior, no teaching occurred...thus not appropriate consequences IN MY OPINION.
Keirsten was very excited about her Homecoming dance. She did not have a "date" per say although she knew of one particular freshman who was going and they were trying to color coordinate, not date-... LOL via phone....LOL She wanted to get dressed very early, but when it came time to start prep work then nothing was going right, she had bumps in her hair style, her deodorant clumped??? She needed this, then that and then she wanted to hop in the shower to start all over when her ride came to pick her up... to be a teen again....NOT!
It is going to be a long night, lots of wining and none are staying asleep, my head hurts, my eyes burn, I do not feel good, is what I am hearing..
