We have no school today, the kids had a big day at the park planned. We had games, food and cold drinks ready with all the supplies to fire up the grill.
Mother nature had us in the house with family and friends singing to the PlayStation Sing Star (Mandie brought when she saw the weather) and Wii American IDOL. The older kids were able to get out for a game or two of tennis in the front of the house. Some swimming was done between storms.. my children are outside kids, being in the house ALL DAY is like being grounded. lol
Music is a huge HUGE motivator in our house. Kaitlyn has a birthday on Friday and all she wants is her own clarinet,case,book and ID tag with her name in it. LOL Tressa followed by asking for a guitar for her birthday, a pink one. (It is in my closet) BEAUTIFUL! Thank you extended Birth family!!
The lasagna is in the oven, Kaitlyn and I ran to Walmart for her new glasses and picked up a bag of easy made salad so a warm tummy yummy dinner will end the day.
While in the eye glass center, the optician talked to me about goggles for outside play and sports. They are VERY DURABLE. I am considering a pair for both of them.
Once Kaitlyn got her new glasses on it was obvious she missed "seeing" things because everything was over drama-- WOW, Mom look at this...Mom look..all just items on shelves.
