Most of my children have very open adoptions. Some see their birth families as we have become extended family. Other families are in constant contact through the Internet and phone calls and see their birth child when possible because they are no longer in this state. Steven's grandparents whom had perm. custody have aged naturally and remain his grandparents as they love him so much as all the families do. Birth families and their relatives/friends are able to come into this blog now and keep up with their loved one through this avenue. It is a wonderful asset to many families who are not able to be with one another every day. I know that Steven's Grandparents have just joined through the help of their assisted living home staff..
THANK YOU!!!! We miss you so much around our table during the holidays, which are upon us. All those treats you made Pat will be remembered forever. Bob Steven continues to look at the airplane books and listen to the videos of classic music you spend endless hours taping. Take good care of them (staff), we will be over very soon.
