I can only imagine how it would feel to love a child so much to allow them to be placed for adoption as the journey for a better life. In Emma's case Mom had an adoption plan with a family yet that plan fell through in the final hours after birth when all parties learned Emma has Down syndrome. With only minutes of time you learn not only does your baby have Down syndrome the adoption plan has fallen through and your baby is very ill. A new baby with three holes in her heart and unexplained digestive issues...Scary at best in my opinion. SO I have heard Mom calls routinely to the attorney to b sure her baby girl made it through the surgery and is doing well. As you all know this baby is our miracle and I feel Emma's birth Mother would enjoy this piece of serenity in knowing her baby girl is not only well but loved immensely by many as well as happy.
