A productive day

We started off in the house with a hot breakfast and cartoons until about 11 am. Outside to clean up the yard and weed out anything not working, no longer used or plain old out grown. The boys are notorious about getting into the shed and dragging items out. All is put away, the yard picked up and the back patio clean. We got rid of all the excess and made notes to what we need to get....#1: A basketball hoop. Our last one rusted through and broke. The kids miss it and tend to throw their basketball on to the roof of the shed or house. This begins the who can throw what farther..and many items are on the roof of the house. Lunch with Hot Chocolate, short rest period and free play. Some jumping on the trampoline, others swing and the little ones nap (mom too.)
Keirsten searched the web for a holiday dress to wear to the party 12/19 (child support in and burning a hole in her pocket, whopping $40.00 for four kids every other week!!) (I know better than nothing) We found some deals although not trying it on might bring a time issue. Keirsten, Jordan and I ran up to shop at Ross for a holiday dress for Keirsten. She found a beautiful party dress for $16.00, which she will be able to wear to the 8th grade dance as well. It is very pretty on her. The boys each got Polo's similar to one another, I will pick up slacks to match before the party. Two more weeks for CS again.. Baths, bedtime routine complete and meds are taken... off to the family room.
Alvin and the chipmunk's on tonight so movie night and early to bed as we are all struggling with cough/cold season.
