Sorry no photos for a bit, the camera said good bye this morning. Not one photo is visible today.. ;o((

It was cute to see Lucas go out to the back patio and I could watch with out him knowing. (kitchen window) He walked around the (cool/not heated) firepit and walked carefully as if it could be hot. Put his hand out like he was going to try to touch it and then shook his head no and in a minute clapped his hands as if to be rewarding himself for making the right decision..LOL Then he moved around the circle testing each chair to see which rocked, then to the next. He got around the entire circle and was getting into a stable chair and got quickly back down moved to the one next to it (rocking) climbed up and started rocking laughing and clapping... Can all of the teaching be sinking in??? So cute to watch. you see he is a "rocker" himself, rocks on everything if is aloud to. I have been showing him appropriate rocking situations as in a rocking chair...did he put it together that he had a desire to rock and got into the chair as to make the right decision??? he did clap and reward himself again as if again to be praising himself for making the right decision.... I still catch him "rocking" on the arm of the chair or couch in the TV room but when he sees me he quickly sits and searches for something to play with or will suck his thumb...(AND SMILE WITH THUMB IN MOUTH)

Tonight he made even more progress, he thinks it is so funny to walk by a full cup of liquid and just tip it over so it spill everything out. Tonight he walked up to the table with a full glass and I said no as he approached the table and he stopped.. A second later with me watching he put his finger tips to the top of the glass and I said "NO" and he got this HUGE smile on his face removed his hand and ran... WITH A HUGE GRIN SMILE!

Bath time now so need to get off and get things ready to go on a day trip tomorrow... I will barrow a camera so we have beach time photos to share.
