Lucas needs a little more time for the American Birthday Celebration activities.
He loved the singing, the time opening gifts and quiet family times leading up to the actual day and his Birthday.. BUT tonight for the full party with candles and party noises, it was too much.. He laughed after the initial fear crying. He is still unsure about so much so fast. One day at a time. He loves being around all the cousins which was much of the party and the candles he didn't blow or understand to blow even after showing. he swatted with his hand and never got that it was dangerous. He was OK with the party favors going on the other sid e of the room but not near him and no silly string was strung this party..He just isn't ready. Next year I see him creating the crazy party activities after many celebrations not so focused on him. He likes to sit the side line and watch right now. UNDERSTANDABLY!
