Today we are doing more of the finishing touches around the house. This morning we put all the greens around the archways with mistletoe for family fun... who will be caught first to remind them what it means???
The tree has given the scent of evergreen, some bowls full of fruit and Cinnamon fragrances adding memories through scent. The Bear and penguins have been caroling since about 7:45 am.
This will be our day for 2008 kids ornaments to get made. The children hand make an ornament style each year and this year it will be today. They love arts and crafts. It is so cute to go back to the ones made with their photos from the years past. They get so excited to see themselves in younger years.
Next week is the week for gift shopping for extended family and friends. Mandie will take them two at a time to the dollar store. The kids come up with their own choices and BOY ARE THEY FUNNY..... it is amazing how perceptive the kids are throughout the year for what they feel would be something someone would need/want....
