Good morning, hope everyone is having a joyous holiday season. We are getting the house warm and festive for the atmosphere of Christmas. Baby Jesus birthday.

When the kids got off the bus they saw that all the decorations were out EVERYWHERE, Mandie helped keep the inside going. The kids had to do their home work then we would go get a tree. Jordan and Steven helped me with the outside yard decorations while we waited for the middle school girls. We have Santa and Mrs. Clause, we hand made. Santa's foot has water rot and is pretty much gone. We added an additional support post for him. The reindeer and sleigh are OK although Jordan felt some blue painters tape would help keep Rudolph up in the air??? then we have our brown Santa train conductor. He is trying to find a spot in the yard. Santa on the motorcycle is up and this is air blown with some balance issues this year. Tressa asked many times "BUT WHY" about Santa on a motorcycle. The tree picking was pre-planned. I went earlier in the day to have an idea where to direct them. We go to the same tent each year so they know us and give us a post card discount. When we got out of the van the little 2 foot trees where right up front so I suggest we get one. Jordan quickly said no and pointed to the biggest tree in the tent; VERY VERY BIG. It went pretty uneventful except Steven decided to repeat a sentence very clear (nouns, verbs correct /intelligible) TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE as Super Nanny would say. I was so stunned at the disgusted it took me a minute to remember he heard this SOMEWHERE.. it was not his thought. I got in his face and he knew I was not OK with what he just said. His expression clearly showed me he was shocked that I did not find it "funny?" sorry mom, sorry mom. Back to happy tree trimming. He got it!

Once home you can see in the photos we had a great time. It ran into the bath/bed routine so the children got to bed a little late for a school night and it was apparent this morning.
