The kids and I made these several years ago.
They are in need of touching up. Next year we need to make some more; Plywood, patterns, jig saw and paint/brushes...
Add lots of family time between Thanksgiving and Christmas and you have great yard scenes. I want a family of snowmen. I have the snow machine ready and waiting for front yard fun.
