We are doing today as craft day since yesterday was a bust when a friend stopped by needing some help.

We made the ornaments already, even Lucas got into the project, placing his items on the balls we decorated. He chose snowflakes and stars with glitter glue. He really liked the glue part.
Jordan was into the snowman on the rocket although it called for hot glue and Elmer's was not doing the trick, frustration set in. He moved to baking brownies. Tressa was in full swing making one of everything. She did the ball, hung that, made a snowman, hung that, went to a centerpiece tree and off to candy canes (foam) she is still out there making arts and craft. Painting by number right now. Kaitlyn is right there with Tressa doing much the same. Keirsten has a friend here so she is on the phone with another friend, swinging on the swing out back .. Steven has done one quick craft and is sorting plastic balls into sand buckets. Jordan and Steven are discussing the movie KING KONG so I am sure the request to turn that on is in the near future.

Keirsten did come into help bake brownies; between her and Jordan it is a wonder anything gets to the oven...(eating the batter)

Tressa came out with the new 64 pk of crayons trying to open the top.. Tape was making it impossible and the top was ripping. I put it back as she gets anxious and tear along the perforated angle which when opened displays all the colors...

YOU'RE A GENIUS! she yells.

If it was all just that simple.
